Of course I probably knew my brother Patrick before anyone else that's still alive! My strongest memories of him are sporting : we both loved many ball games. He was big and strong, had fantastic hand-eye coordination, and represented county youth teams.. He wasn't over-competitive, he played fair, but his natural skills made him a great performer, probably above all as a batsman in cricket, where he smote the ball all over the field. Later in life he took to the pen rather than the bat, but I will always remember him in cricket whites on the green turf. Bob Huddie.
